Farida believes that everyone is capable of finding happiness, and she is dedicated to helping people find their unique state of bliss. By offering counseling, support, and encouragement, she helps people through rough patches and life changes, always with the end goal of leading them to a happier, more fulfilled future.
She enjoys helping individuals in their pursuit of reaching their potential goals in life, couples who wish to strengthen their relationships, families who are trying to resolve their conflicts and connect on a deeper level, and people who seek to move toward a healthy and blissful state of mind.
Farida is a Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapist, and she utilizes EMDR while working with people who’ve confronted trauma, eating disorders, phobias, assault, and rape as well as people who just need a helping hand adjusting to stressful changes in life.
Farida also traveled to Egypt to work with woman and children living in oppression and impoverished circumstances. Fluent in Arabic, Farida was able to work with Egyptian clients in their native tongue. While in Egypt, Farida also spent time working with expats who were learning to cope with the dramatic life change of moving to a foreign land, helping them bridge the culture gap and thrive in their new circumstances.
Farida received her education in Fullerton, California at Hope International University Southern CA. She earned her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is a registered state intern (IMT-1957). She is also the clinical manager at Loving Life.
