Dr. V has always had a curiosity in the natural realm of things in life. Nature’s essence has an effect on her spirituality and daily living. In the different fields she has worked in, her attention has been driven toward medical practices.
While attending the East West College of Natural Medicine, Dr. V transformed into the person she always sought to become. As a candidate in a Doctoral program, she is becoming even more driven by her passion for studies in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She intends to share that passion through comprehensive health and wellness treatment plans that encompass the mind, body and spirit of her patients to achieve optimal individual care.
Healthcare in an integrated environment has always been a vision that has resonated with her and her professional goals. Dr. V loves working with a team of professionals combining a variety of medical needs to achieve optimal results for the patients.
With a background in sports and as a current athlete in the Roller Derby sport, Dr. V has developed a unique skill set that enables her to provide guided, customized, concise and patient-focused treatment plans. Issues like musculoskeletal pain, high stress levels, anxiety, depression, PTSD and other related psycho-emotional symptoms are often connected to the patient’s pain and personal well-being.
